New Sony PSP In Stores Oct. 14 2008
Sony has updated its PlayStation Portable system. The enhanced PSP will feature a new LCD screen with a wider gamut of colors, antireflection technology and a built-in microphone that was not available on previous systems. Players can use the microphone to make Skype calls and talk to other gamers during multiplayer sessions.

It's About Time Sony
Sony is introducing a wireless keypad that can be attached to the system's controller for typing and Web browsing.
The Bluetooth-enabled keypad, available in November, is intended to make it easier to chat during multiplayer games. Currently players talk to each other over headsets with microphones. Gamers tired of hearing inane banter from their peers may welcome the ability to put down their earpieces and communicate through typing instead.
Another feature is a button on the keypad that will let users turn it into a touch pad and use the entire surface as a mouse by sliding their finger over the surface. This, Sony says, will make it easier to browse the Web using the console.
There is already a wireless ThumbPad ($30) available for the PS3 from Mad Catz Inc., but this is a first from Sony itself. Sony hasn't announced a price.

One Hundred And One Uses For Glue
In London, Tuesday a climate change protester tried to glue himself to Prime Minsiter Gordon Brown. To top it off the protester Dan Glass 24 is a member of Plane Stupid, yes I know what your thinking and no Plane Stupid is not some rock band that's part of the next wave of the British Invasion. It's a protest group against airport expansion. A Scotland Yard spokesman said no police action was taken against anyone related to the protest. How nice.
I'm going to try the same thing, I feel pretty confidant that this plan will work. I'm sure the police here in Florida wont arrest me. And if your're wondering my protest group is called Just As Dumb If Not Stupider.

Groundhog Day
I'm sitting here trying to think of something to write about, and I can honestly say I have nothing. Nothing happened today, no big major news story that caught my eye. Everything on television, and in the papers are the same. I feel like I'm in my own version of Groundhogs Day, everyday it seems to be the same news stories. Gas, Economy, Banks, Obama, McCain, Miley Cyrus, Foreclosures, Dark Knight, just add water rinse and repeat.
I guess I have to go at it the same way Bill Murray did, learn to be a nicer, better person, and fall in love with Andie McDowell. Then and only then will tomorrow be a new day.

Red Ring Of Death For Less
Microsoft will drop the price of the Xbox 360 to US$299 today, Sony says it has no plans to follow suit with the PS3. Sony did slash the price of the PS3 for the first time last year, when introducing a new 40 GB model without backwards compatibility for $399.
What this all means for Xbox 360 buyers, is that you will be paying $50 less for the Red Ring Of Death. Does anyone really care about the Xbox 360 enough to go out and purchase one, especially during these Wii times we are living in? I want to know if you are getting a Xbox 360 now that the price is $50 bucks cheaper, or are you still holding out for some form of a Wii?
